Back in the 80s, the islands really were paradise: few people, beautiful beaches, a warm wind of freedom. But when a stream of tourists and seekers of a better life poured into Hawaii, everything went wrong.
Like mushrooms after the rain, new houses and hotels, shopping centers and entertainment venues are appearing here. Many people find modern buildings gray and gloomy, and because of the eternal traffic jams, it is almost impossible to quickly get to the right place.
Once deserted beaches are filled with crowds of vacationers, and many coastlines never looked like they show in the movies. Hawaii is a volcanic archipelago, so in some places the shores are covered with lava, black sand and plants, through which it is not so easy to get to the water.
