History monuments in the Coopio – ancient Catholic temples
Once part of the Karelian monasteries and parishes belonged to Finland and many exhibits were evacuated from there during World War II-now they are exhibited in the museum.
The doors of the Orthodox Museum were open until December 31, so those who arrived in the city early can still have time to see the exposition.
Otherwise, you should come here no earlier than January 2nd. By the way, there are ancient Catholic temples in Cuopio, which also deserve attention. From an architectural point of view, they look very elegant.
In Coopio, Mount Puyo is considered the best place to celebrate the New Year, or rather, a restaurant on the top floor of the tower installed here.
