Often we are in a situation where we wish we wish to change our life for the better, we fight like fish about ice, but we cannot achieve any noticeable results, but instead we get only another reason for disappointment
Why do some people carry out the same actions achieve their goals, while others do not? What is the reason?
Let’s look at a specific example.
Suppose we decided to start our own business, for example, in one of the popular network marketing company. We have already checked the quality of the company’s products, studied marketing – a plan, analyzed the situation and concluded that we have the necessary knowledge and connections, and we will be able to build a successful business with this company.
Having set such a goal, we sincerely believe that we really want to have our own successful business than to improve our financial situation.
At first, we feel the emotional upsurge and optimism about our new goal and upcoming success, but soon we have doubts about success, fear of failure and a decrease in motivation.
And very often, we do not even understand what is the matter?
Why do we not achieve our goals? Why cannot we budge if we have already thought out everything and do not see the thorough reasons for such a stupor?
Most often, the reason is not at all that we are afraid of difficulties, that we cannot be disciplined, or we have no clear action plan.
In fact, the reason is that we cannot achieve our goals until our goals are accepted by all parts of our “I”.
Most of us even do not even imagine that we have some other “I” who, in addition, also conflict among themselves!
Despite the fact that our “I” (our consciousness) is confident in the correctness of the decision, our little “I” (our subconscious) – there may be a completely different opinion.
And they not only express their opinion in our thoughts, they can actively resist and sabotage all the steps we take in the direction of our success, to which we consciously strive.
One subpersonality will begin to worry that we will not be able to pay enough attention to family or friends, because our business will take a lot of time and effort from us. We will even have to forget about our hobbies.
The other will warn us that many people have a negative attitude to network marketing, and our friends and loved ones will not understand us. We will be ashamed to do this.
And the third will convince us that we can help not only ourselves and our family, but also other people. And we will be very pleased when people will thank us.
As a result, our efforts and our energy instead of moving forward, is wasted on a daily struggle with oneself.
Our subpersonalities are trying to protect us from a possible negative result, from disappointment or shame in case of failure.
They are strong, because this is our subconscious (habits, beliefs, past experience, instincts).
What to do?
Listen to all our subpersonalities, collect all their opinions and doubts and reconcile them in time, otherwise we can generally abandon our goal.
The fact is that only about 2-5% of our decisions and actions are controlled by consciousness (our Self), and the remaining 98% are controlled by our subconscious (our little self) .
If we want to achieve our professional and financial goals quickly and easily, without resistance and defeat, our goals should be approved by all parts of our “I”.
