I may surprise you with my next statement. It turns out that stress can motivate and contribute to the assertion of self -confidence. The real enemy of the body is haste.
The problem of stress. Facts.
The current problem of stress is that our “motor” does not obey us anymore. Oddly enough, there are more and more inventions in the irony of fate that facilitate work and rest.
But, despite this, there have never been so many people complaining of overload. Here are some facts:
• Stress is increasingly found: almost every third suffers from it at the workplace.
• Stress is getting younger: every second of the age group 31-45 years suffers from overload.
• Stress is increasingly acquiring a “female face”: about 40 percent of women feel at work and at home overwork. The double role of working mothers more and more loads a woman. Every second woman feels herself prone to increased stress.
• Stress is getting more dangerous. Most of all accidents at the workplace is a consequence of professional overload.
“Stress just hover in the air …”
Stress covered all professional groups, social layers and has long been not a “privilege” of managers. According to the results of research by the World Health Organization (WHO), stress covers workers and employees much more often. The less a person decides for himself, the more he suffers from overload.
But who decides when stress has come, and when – not yet? You will not believe it. It turns out we ourselves.
And what would I do in this situation?
Imagine this situation: 5 minutes before the closing of the Bureau, your boss appears and requires you to make a three -page speech ready until tomorrow morning. This plunges you into stress, because you have tickets to the theater in your hands this evening. What will you do? You will quickly print the text, rush home to change clothes and go to the theater. You appear in the theater 5 minutes before the start of the presentation. In the lobby, you quickly smoke a cigarette and after that you are exhausted in a chair. You are experiencing negative stress, since you are too tired to follow what is happening on the stage, and you consider all to be guilty of this, except for yourself, except yourself.
You could feel the same situation as a task. You could ask your boss more precisely, when he needs this speech. Then you would come tomorrow morning half an hour earlier and printed it. At the same time, you would spend a wonderful evening in the theater absolutely without stress.
With this example, I want to show you two things:
• Basically, it all depends on yourself whether you get stress or not.
• Much of what we call stress is actually a rush. She is the real enemy of the body.
Anyone who clearly imagines this easily copes with stress. Think for a moment that in recent days has made you strain? Probably among this there were many banalities. And now you are surprised how you could worry about this.
(From the book of prof. Christiana Barnard “50 ways to a healthy heart”)
And you think? Stress or haste?
