Bridge Golden Gate-the main attraction of San Francisco
Perhaps the main architectural attraction of San Francisco is the golden gate bridge, built in 1937 and connecting it with the mainland.
The authors of the project of this grandiose building at that time were American engineers Joseph Straus and Leon Moissam, who designed it in such a way that it could calmly withstand powerful underground shocks and a squall wind.
San Francisco is famous for its many museums and picturesque galleries.
The most popular among tourists is the Museum of Contemporary Art, which exhibits the work of such world -famous masters as Henri Matisse, Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso. His collection has several thousand paintings.
