Someone believes that men are the best leaders. And, indeed, we are increasingly seeing in various sources of the media the success of the success of influential politicians and businessmen, the bulk of which are representatives of the stronger sex. And even at our beloved (or not) work in the head of the leader, we see all the same man. Studies show that most respondents associate the leading man with such qualities as self-confidence, authority, perseverance, the ability to analyze, straightforwardness, etc. These masculine qualities of leadership help a strong floor to achieve success in any field faster.
Comparing a man and a woman as a leader, it becomes clear that each of them accepts completely different models of behavior: if a man is more focused on the target, then a woman is more likely to interpersonal relationships. Man control style is more tough, deprived of emotions. The man leader to a light bulb of the feelings of subordinates, the most important thing for him is the goal and result. Such an authoritarian management regime is suitable for those areas of activity where cold calculation and hard control are needed. Therefore, men most often realize themselves as a leader in such “cruel” activities as business, army, sport, etc. D. They try to put a high bar in front of them, trying to jump above their heads. And if the failure nevertheless overtakes the representative of the stronger sex, he remains calm, simply attributing defeats to the existing circumstances. The visiting card of a leader of a leader is the very strong-willed character, and sometimes even rigidity in relation to people who are lacking in the leader.
We list the masculine qualities of leadership: • decisiveness; • cold calculation; • flexibility; • high level of intelligence; • charisma; • stiffness; • perseverance; • authoritarianism; • riskiness; • pronounced motivation for success; • high level of claims; • resistance to defeat/failure; • proactivity, etc.
Analysis of numerous studies and polls shows that both the woman and the man easily cope with the role of the leader. In terms of leadership, representatives of both sexes make similar decisions, use similar strategies. Therefore, it is reckless to trust the current stereotype that a man is a dominant and a leader by nature. This cliche, probably, will not soon leave the minds of people, so women can only hope for themselves and stubbornly move forward, while men are content with their position as a leader.
