Increase in sales of suburban housing of the Moscow Region
Simultaneously with the increase in the volume of construction in the suburban market, two and a half times, the volume of housing construction in Moscow decreased 2.7 times.
This led to an exacerbation and so complicated position with a shortage of apartments in Moscow. Thus, many representatives of the middle class began to consider the possibility of acquiring an affordable at the price of suburban housing in terms of solving their housing issue.
If we consider the dynamics of changes in the suburban market of the Moscow Region over the past five years, it can be noted that at first the average increase in prices per square meter of cottage housing was approximately 20-30%, and in the last two pre-crisis years-about 10%.
