Wroclaw is a city permeated by the atmosphere of the Middle Ages
Permeated at once with several reservoirs – the Odra River and its four tributaries – the city includes 12 islands.
All of them are interconnected by bridges, the total number of which reaches 220. Outwardly, the violence is not distinguished against the background of the rest of Poland. Like most of its other cities, it is dotted with many squares and ancient multi -colored houses that perfectly recreate the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.
The hallmarks of the city can undoubtedly be considered the famous Wroclaw Dwarves: bronze statuettes in the form of these fairy -tale characters have been installed on the streets of Vroclav since 2001, and their number is constantly growing. Each gnome not only symbolizes the place next to which it is, but also has its own story set forth in the corresponding brochures.
